(BICSI) is an industry association that responds to the needs of telecommunication consultants, formerly known as building industry consultants, or BICs, as well as the needs of other professionals in the field of information and communications technology (ICT). - Outside Plant (OSP) Designer: This designation recognizes those who show proficiency in designing outside plants.
- Installer 1; Installer 2; Installer 2, Copper; Installer 2, Optical Fiber; and Technician: A progressive career path laid out by the BICSI Cabling Installation Training and Credential Program prepares individuals to become commercial cabling installers. These individuals learn how to properly conduct site surveys, pull wire/cable, and terminate and test copper and optical fiber cable.
